Internal VS External Modifications
When they’re first picking the parts for their new golf carts, our clients will be able to choose among hundreds of options. Should their vehicle retain its original looks while still feeling powerful and comfortable to drive or will it turn into a truly unique piece that all of their friends will envy?
To simplify things a bit, we’ve decided to make an important distinction: internal mods as opposed to work done to the exterior of your golf carts. That doesn’t mean you can only choose the former or the latter, but does make the design process a bit easier for us!
Internal mods include anything that has to do with the cabin of the vehicle, as well as any mechanical parts. Whether you’re looking to add an extra seat, want to install a new sound system, swap your dashboard or upgrade the steering wheel; this is the section you should be looking for. Additionally, you can request street-approved work to the engine, the brakes or other mechanical systems.
External mods, instead, are usually more aesthetic in nature. They concern the appearance of your golf cart and include tires, paint-jobs, windshields, rims, and antennas; as well modifications to the vehicle’s main chassis; the head-turning stuff. These are also approved for driving on public roads and can make each vehicle into a reflection of its owner’s personality!
